Aug 10: Doing what's right for you...

"Aug 10 You're going to piss off a lot of people when you start doing what's right for you. Do it anyway."    

This mug measures approximately 3.5 inches wide and 3.75 inches tall, and includes a .75 inch wide handle. All journal mugs are unique, and meant to mimic paper, therefore these cups are not perfectly round and feature paper-like folds and waves in their form.
It is also gloriously translucent when held up to the light. :)  

I manipulate porcelain to mimic college ruled notebook paper. On the thinnest pieces, the porcelain becomes translucent showing light and the text through the vessel :) I hope you enjoy the familiarity of the spacing of the blue and red lines and binder holes, and giggle a bit at the reminder of the frustration of that inevitable frayed edge. :)
